About
I'm Head of Engineering and Architecture at Azzurri Group, the company behind Zizzi, ASK Italian, Coco di Mama and Dave's Hot Chicken. Most of my time goes on the systems guests never think about until they go wrong: card payments, POS integrations, loyalty schemes, and the platforms that run a multi-brand estate. Before hospitality I spent years delivering software across TV and mobile platforms, as a developer and then leading delivery teams.
What I work on
Payments and POS
Joining card payments, ordering apps and tills so a voucher, a split bill or a refund behaves the same in every restaurant.
Loyalty and CRM
Running and evaluating loyalty platforms, and making sure rewards reach real guests rather than people gaming the scheme.
A modern web platform
Moving a multi-brand web estate from WordPress to Next.js, Vercel and Sanity, so each brand can ship faster on shared foundations.
Practical AI agents
Small, useful agents for competitor analysis, fraud detection and keeping on top of a busy day's outstanding work.
Outside work
Wandsworth Sea Cadets
I help run our local Sea Cadets unit and act as its treasurer, giving young people a start on the water and a lot of confidence along the way.
Running and cycling
Most weekends start on foot or on a bike.
